About Victoria Falls
The Victoria Falls is one of the world’s most impressive waterfalls. Set on the wild Zambezi River, it creates the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe; Livingstone being the town on the Zambian side and Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side.
Both countries share magnificent views of the falling water known as the Victoria Falls.
Where to view the Victoria Falls from:
These spectacular waterfalls can be easily visited and viewed from both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides. The views are different on each side so if you have time, visit both. You can walk between towns as long as you have your passport, a credit card to enter the rainforest on each side and of course some sunscreen. Alternatively we can arrange a road transfer and a guided tour of both sides for you.
Some stats:
Considered to be the world’s widest waterfalls, the Victoria Falls measures an impressive 1708 metres in width and at peek flow more than a million litres of water a minute flow over the face of the falls forming a mist that that swirls into the sky and creates a cloud and a rainforest.
